Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy has been shown in a multitude of studies over the years to be safe and effective in alleviating treatment-resistant depression, anxiety and PTSD, among other conditions. Ketamine is currently the only legal psychedelic available for use, with psilocybin and MDMA on track to be approved for therapeutic use in the near future.

Psychedelics differ from traditional antidepressants and anxiety medications in how they affect the brain. Traditional meds, like SSRIs, work by adjusting chemicals like serotonin over time to stabilize mood. Psychedelics, on the other hand, create a temporary, intense experience that can lead to deep emotional insights and changes in perspective, which some believe may offer long-term relief after just one or a few doses.

Ketamine and other psychedelics have also been shown to increase neuroplasticity and the robustness of synaptic connections that have likely withered due to the long term effects of chronic stress and depression. Therapy can help to maximize the benefits of psychedelic treatment and the ability to develop new, long lasting habits and healthier ways of thinking.

I offer two approaches to psychedelic-assisted therapy:

  • I offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) in collaboration with Choose Your Horizon. Each treatment includes a preparatory session to set your intention, a 3-hour dosing session where I'll support you throughout with guidance and curated music, and an integration session to help turn your experience into lasting positive change.

If we agree that KAP is a good fit, I’ll refer you to a medical practitioner at Choose Your Horizon who will ensure it’s right for you and prescribe the appropriate dose, which will be sent as dissolvable lozenges.

We can meet either remotely or in-person for the dosing session, where you will self-administer the medication. I’ll guide you through the experience using a combination of words and music as needed.

Fees vary depending on the services and support required. Contact me for more details.

  • If you have an existing, self-guided psychedelic routine, I can help you get the most out of it with an intention-setting preparatory session, a post-journey integration session and a follow-up to help solidify gains. I do not offer guidance during these sessions due to legal restrictions around psychedelic use.

The preparatory session and integration session are 90 minutes each and the follow up is 45 minutes. These sessions focus on setting intentions, developing rituals to put you in the right mindset for the journey, curating musical accompaniments and then finding creative ways to understand the experience and deepen the insight and growth coming out of the journey. We also develop a personalized plan so you can continue to integrate your experience on your own long afterwards.

Fees vary depending on your needs. Contact me for more information.

Please note that I do not provide any guidance on selecting a psychedelic medicine, dosage or administration. My services are purely psychotherapy and any decisions regarding psychedelic medicine use are your own.
